For the Day With(out) arts, a campaign organised by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visualaids.org\/\">Visual AIDS<\/a>, I have expanded it into an interactive timeline, which lets users explore the revision history of the <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/HIV\/AIDS\">HIV\/AIDS Wikipedia article.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In the words of <a href=\"http:\/\/beckyhuffhunter.net\/\">Becky Huff Hunter<\/a> from the ICA Philadelphia:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>BackStory: 13 years of HIV\/AIDS on Wikipedia is an online visualization tool which allows viewers to explore a subjective, contested, and constantly expanding history of HIV\/AIDS, through a chronology of revisions to Wikipedia articles on this topic.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>When you read the article about HIV\/AIDS on Wikipedia, what you see is just the latest version of a document, that has undergone 13 years of collaborative writing and editing. This revision history, which is exposed through this visualisation, reflects the changing views and discourses around HIV\/AIDS<\/p>\n<p>The basis for this visualisation form over 8,000 versions of the HIV\/AIDS wikipedia article, which have been curated around three chosen keywords: Condoms, Viral Load and Safe Sex.<\/p>\n<p>Read the <a href=\"http:\/\/icaphila.org\/programs\/6790\/backstory-13-years-of-hiv-aids-on-wikipedia\">announcement on the ICA\u2019s website<\/a> and articles on the project on <a href=\"http:\/\/technical.ly\/philly\/2014\/12\/01\/world-aids-day-wikipedia-krautli-ica\/\">Technical.ly<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/penncurrent.upenn.edu\/2014-12-11\/latest-news\/ica-commission-shows-increased-understanding-hivaids\/?utm_medium=referral&amp;utm_source=t.co\">Penn Current<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For the 25th <a href=\"https:\/\/www.visualaids.org\/projects\/detail\/day-without-art\">Day With(out) Art<\/a> an interactive timeline I created occupied website of the <a href=\"http:\/\/icaphila.org\/\">ICA Philadelphia<\/a> on World AIDS Day, 1 December 2014.
